McBryde Earns Scarlets Call-Up

RGC fly-half Billy McBryde has been selected for the Scarlets squad in the URC this week, earning an opportunity to train and play once again in a professional environment.

The Super Rygbi Cymru top scorer has impressed since returning to North Wales, and the chance to link up with the Scarlets was one he was keen to take.

Speaking ahead of the fixture, McBryde expressed his gratitude to RGC for allowing him to take up the opportunity.
“I’d like to thank RGC for allowing me to play for the Scarlets this week. To be able to train and play in a professional environment again was something I couldn’t turn down. Rest assured, I’ll be back to finish the season off strongly,” said McBryde.

RGC General Manager Alun Pritchard praised the selection, highlighting both McBryde’s form and what the call-up represents for the competition.
“We’re delighted to see Billy being given the opportunity to play in the URC. It’s well deserved considering how well he’s played for us since returning to North Wales and also reflects well on Super Rygbi Cymru. We wish him the best of luck.”
