RGC Supporters Raise Funds for Cerebral Palsy Plus in Memory of William James Nelson

RGC Supporters have raised £2,000 through a raffle and match ticket donation, with all proceeds going to Cerebral Palsy Plus, a charity dedicated to supporting individuals and families affected by cerebral palsy.

The fundraising was held in memory of William James Nelson, the son of former RGC Academy coach Saul. Saul and his wife Emma, along with their son Thomas attended RGC’s recent home fixture against Chester, where supporters joined together for a moving minute’s applause in William’s memory.

“Raising money for this incredible charity is the least we could do for Saul and his family, and I’d like to thank all of our amazing fans who contributed. We are one big family here at RGC and come together when needed to support our own. Your unwavering support also shines a light on the important work that Cerebral Palsy Plus undertake and long may they do so.”  Alun Pritchard, RGC General Manager.

Cerebral Palsy Plus has played an important role in supporting the Nelson family, and this fundraising initiative is a testament to the strength and generosity of the RGC Supporter community.

Anyone unable to make last week’s game and wishing to make an additional donation in support of Cerebral Palsy Plus can do so via the following link:
