RGC Set for Swansea

It's Swansea at home this Saturday

RGC Return to Stadiwm Eirias Aiming for First Home Win

RGC return to Stadiwm Eirias this weekend as they face Swansea, looking to secure their first home win of the season in the SRC

The visitors, known as the All Whites, will bring a couple of familiar faces with them in Rhodri King and Ethan Fackrell, both moved to Swansea in the summer.

Last time out, RGC were involved in a dramatic clash away at Llandovery, pushing the unbeaten side all the way before a last-kick conversion sealed the win for the Drovers.

One of the standout performers so far has been Caio Parry, who has found the try line in three of the four matches this season — and he’ll be eager to add to that tally in Round 5.

Reflecting on the narrow defeat at Llandovery, the RGC flyer highlighted both the positives and the fine margins that define the results in the league.

“It was a tough one to take at Llandovery, losing it with the final kick, and it shows the small margins in the SRC games. One point changes the whole table, but we can take many positives from how we played against a team that is unbeaten.

We know what Swansea bring; they have form and confidence right now, and have a couple of familiar faces as well.

The focus is on putting in a full 80-minute performance, starting strong and finishing even stronger.”

With confidence in the squad and lessons learned from recent performances, RGC will be hoping that home advantage can make the difference this weekend.
