Schools Back, Nights Draw In… Super Rygbi Cymru Is On The Horizon
The schools are back, the nights are drawing in and there’s a familiar feeling in the air — Super Rygbi Cymru is almost here.
RGC kick off their 2026/27 campaign on the road, travelling to face Newport on Saturday 12th September, before returning to Stadiwm Eirias for the first home league fixture against Carmarthen Quins on Saturday 19th September.
After a summer of hard work, including training through the heatwaves, the RGC squad are ready for the competitive season to begin.
The players have put in the miles on the training pitch and in the gym throughout pre-season, with the focus firmly on being ready for the challenges ahead.
Heading into his second season in North Wales, Chamberlain is relishing the opportunity to get the campaign underway.
“It’s exciting to get the season going, especially with a tough first fixture against Newport. We put in a good performance against Coventry, and hopefully we can build on that as we head into the new season.
“We’ve been working hard in pre-season and we’re all looking forward to the challenge and hopefully starting the season with a strong performance.”
With the opening fixture now just around the corner, the countdown to SRC 26/27 is well and truly on.
