RGC Squad For Chester

RGC begin their preparations for the SRC with a game against Chester at Stadiwm CSM on Saturday. 2pm. It's a chance for the new recruits to play in front of a home crowd.

After the pre-season prep, Delwyn Jones is looking forward to 80 minutes of rugby:

"It's good to get back out again, in front of the home fans.  We have a couple of games before the start of the SRC - and the focus is to build for September 13th against Cardiff.

As for this game, there are a few familiar faces in the Chester line-up, which I'm sure will bring a bit extra tomorrow both for the players and fans"

Following the Seniors ' game, the U18S face Scarlets at 4 pm, with the start of the Regional Age Grade season.

Afon Bagshaw: "Scarlets coming to North Wales has been in previous years a very open, expansive game, and I expect nothing less this time round. The young men of the North have been working hard in preseason and put in a real good performance at Malvern festival and backed it up with a good two wins over Coventry 17’s and 18’s."
