Rygbi Gogledd Cymru 1404 is the full name for RGC which represents the North Wales Development Region in Wales’ premier domestic rugby competition, Super Rygbi Cymru. Covering half the land mass of Wales and over 800,000 people RGC are proud to represent the people of North Wales.

Set up officially in 2008, RGC played their first ever competitive game at the start of the 2012/13 season away to Gilfach Goch in Division 1 East. Promotion to the Championship was achieved in the first year and this was followed not long after with entry to the Welsh Premiership (now redeveloped as Super Rygbi Cymru).

Our aim is to develop players for the professional and international game whilst inspiring youngsters from across the region to take up the sport. Starting with our Emerging Player Pathway (EPP) at u15 we also have U16 and U18 development teams, a senior academy, a female Player Development Centre and a Senior Team.
