Quins in the Cup

The final game of the SRC Cup group stage promises plenty of drama, with semi-final places still up for grabs as RGC host Carmarthen Quins at Stadiwm Eirias.

Both sides know that a win on Saturday could be enough to secure a place in the semi-finals — and potentially a home tie.

Winger Ciao Parry believes home advantage could prove decisive:

"Making sure we get the win, and then see where that takes us — semi-final home or away. Last week, some of our errors proved costly and shifted the game's momentum.

We have home advantage on Saturday and, with the crowd behind us, we can take full advantage of that. Hopefully the fans can come to Eirias in good numbers, as it makes a massive difference.
Quins will be physical. They’ll challenge us up front and make us work hard with and without the ball. When you look at it, two wins and we can reach a cup final. We’re fully focused on putting in a performance that gets us to the next stage.”

With everything still to play for, it promises to be a huge afternoon in Colwyn Bay.
